(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — A Deputy Sheriff with the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office (EPSO) has been arrested on multiple charges in connection to domestic violence.

According to EPSO, 33-year-old Deputy Sheriff Marie Lahoff was arrested on Feb. 2 by the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) and booked into the El Paso County Jail.

Lahoff is facing multiple charges related to domestic violence, including:

Second Degree Assault

Third Degree Assault

Menacing

False Imprisonment

EPSO said Lahoff has been employed with the Sheriff’s Office since Oct. 21, 2021 and was assigned to the Detention Security Division. Lahoff has been placed on administrative leave according to EPSO policy.
