Plane lands safely after tire blowout from COS to DEN

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A United flight from Colorado Springs to Denver had a tire become damaged on takeoff.

According to United Airlines, United Flight 237 sustained some tire damage while departing from Colorado Springs Airport (COS) on Tuesday, Feb. 20.

COS tells FOX21 that the aircraft reported a tire blowout.

When the plane arrived in Denver, all 145 passengers were able to get off the plane safely and boarded a bus to the terminal.

No injuries have been reported and there were no disruptions to other flights.
