(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Have you heard of Colorado Springs’ only cat cafe? You can enjoy complimentary tea and coffee, play games, but most importantly—play with cats that are up for adoption!
Biscuit Factory Cat Lounge is located in Old Colorado City near the intersection of South 25th Street and Colorado Avenue. It’s $11 to get in and customers are invited to play with cats up for adoption from Happy Cats Haven. “It’s a great place for people who want to adopt [and] it’s great for people who can’t have cats,” Lauren Bogert, Owner of the cat cafe said.
Bogert noticed there were no cat cafes in Southern Colorado and decided to change that when she opened her location a few months ago. “I jokingly told my husband that when we decided to make this our home, that if I’m going to live somewhere, I’m going to open a cat cafe.”
At any given time, up to 15 cats will roam the two-story space, and to learn more about the cat cafe click on the link above or call the business at (719) 722-5993.
