(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Children’s Hospital Colorado ranked in the top 10 out of 500 organizations and companies in Forbes’ list of America’s Best Large Employers 2024.

According to Children’s Hospital, the award is based on employees’ willingness to recommend their own employer to friends and family. Employees were also given a chance to rate other employers in their respective industries.

Children’s Hospital ranked fourth on the list which the hospital claims is due in part to its creativity and positivity used to create a strong workplace.

“People are really connected to the mission. I mean, it can be hard work, right?” said Betsy Rodriguez, Senior VP & Chief HRO at Children’s Hospital Colorado. “It can be really hard to deal with sick kids or kids that are going through a trauma or something like that. But that’s why people work here. They want to be able to serve that community, and there is something about working in pediatrics.”
