Vanessa Wormack, RN, is also a Leap Year baby and helped to welcome baby Kayson into the world on Thursday. “Kayson was born at 1 pound, 7 ounces at just over 25 weeks. While it will take some time for him to grow big and strong, Vanessa said he’s doing well. His mom is also a nurse at Outpatient Care at Briargate,” wrote Children’s Colorado.

As for Vanessa, she said it is “truly wonderful to share a birthday with Kayson,” and also being a Leap Year baby, who just turned six, makes it “extra rewarding to provide care and comfort during [Kayson’s] first crucial days in the NICU.”
