(COLORADO SPRINGS) — There are some new fans of Team USA getting ready to cheer on their favorite athletes in August during the 17th Paralympic Games in Paris.

The patients at Children’s Hospital Colorado (Children’s Colorado) Colorado Springs, off of Briargate Parkway, got a special visit from Team USA, when Landon Ruggera, a Gunnison native from the Paralympic shooting team, Taylor Winnett, from the Paralympic swimming team, and Kate Brim, from the Paralympic cycling team, stopped by to play and hang out.

The team members made rounds, bringing smiles and inspiration to patients. Check out the photos for glimpses of the enjoyable moments spent with athletes, children, and even the medical dog, Salida.
