Missing person last seen in northwest Colorado Springs

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Bureau of Investigation (CBI) a missing Indigenous person was last seen in Colorado Springs on Sunday, March 24, and could be experiencing mental health issues.

17-year-old Erika Franklin was last seen on Sunday at around 7 p.m. walking in the 5100 block of Hearthstone Lane. She is described as 4’11”, 100 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing a long-sleeved hoodie and sweatpants.

According to CBI, Franklin requires medication that she is without and could be experiencing mental health problems. If you see her, call 911 or the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) at (719) 444-7000.
