(BLACK FOREST, Colo.) — The sport of football has changed significantly over the years, but so has watching a football game on television.

Tim Healy, who currently lives in the Black Forest area, worked for SporTVision in the late 90s, the group who created the “yellow line” technology that is seen on all football broadcasts today.

The yellow line made its debut in 1998, and since then, it has revolutionized the way football fans watch the game on TV.

Healy stopped traveling for games 12 years ago, but is still on the list to work local games.
