(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a suspicious death at America the Beautiful Park, located at 126 Cimino Drive, which is east of I-25 and south of Colorado Avenue, on Friday, June 7.

According to CSPD, officers were called to the park just before 10:15 a.m. on Friday where they found a man, who appears to be a member of the homeless community, dead.

No other details were released by CSPD about the victim, and the investigation is ongoing. Check back in this article for updates.
