CSPD: Trespassing report leads to drug, firearm seizure

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), officers responded to a trespassing report on Friday, June 7. The incident led to an arrest and the seizure of multiple narcotics and a firearm.

CSPD officers arrived at a storage facility on North Academy Boulevard, near Galley Road, at about 11:15 p.m. Friday, where they confiscated over one ounce of various narcotics, including methamphetamine, heroin, and fentanyl, along with drug paraphernalia and a stolen firearm.

According to CSPD, the incident led to the arrest of a 41-year-old man named Adama James Brown, who is reported to have a history of multiple felony convictions across several states, including Colorado and Georgia.

CSPD reported that the suspect now faces additional felony charges, including Possession of Weapons by Previous Offenders, Unlawful Distribution, and Unlawful Possession of a Controlled Substance.
