During the search for Cambeul on Wednesday, according to the Sheriff’s Office, another man was rescued in an unrelated river incident.

“From what I’ve heard, the current can actually be faster under the surface of the water and that’s where it gets pretty dangerous,” said Otero County Sheriff’s Office Undersheriff Matthew Wallace.

The Sheriff’s Office is telling the public to not go into the water at this time and FOX21 will continue to update this article as the search for Cambeul continues.
