(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — Manitou Springs is making parking and transportation easy to the 2024 Pride Parade on Saturday, June 29.
Parade participants should utilize the Wichita Parking Lot for staging, and parking will be limited during the parade. Individuals can also park at the Hiawatha Gardens Parking Lot located at 10 Old Mans Trail.
Those who are attending the parade are advised to check live parking updates online for occupancy and cost breakdown of the Hiawatha Lot before heading into Manitou Springs.
Due to the parade kicking off at 10 a.m., between 9:30 a.m. and 10:30 a.m., traffic will be detoured onto some of Manitou Springs’ narrower streets. Westbound traffic will detour onto El Paso Boulevard, onto Lover’s Lane, and then Canon Avenue.
Eastbound traffic coming from Ruxton will detour onto Osage Avenue. Both of these roads are extremely narrow residential roads with on-street parking throughout. Large trucks will not be allowed to detour through these routes and will be redirected back onto Manitou Ave or US-24.
