It’s always helpful to check out if temps and moisture are running above or below climatological norms because they help us monitor developing or improving drought conditions and fire risk across our state.

Many times on a daily basis you find that you’re either well above or well below normal regarding high temperatures because of the troughs and ridges that move from west to east across the northern hemisphere.
