CSPD responds to domestic disturbance call, suspect in custody

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to a domestic disturbance call on Tuesday, Aug. 13, and said a suspect is now in custody.

CSPD told FOX21 at noon on Tuesday that its crews responded to the area near the 3300/3400 block of North El Paso Street. According to the police department, officers were trying to contact an individual who may have been wanted on a warrant. Police advised the public to avoid the area until the suspect was in custody.

At approximately 12:20 p.m., CSPD reported the suspect was taken into custody without incident.
