DENVER (KDVR) — The Denver Broncos reportedly signed Patrick Surtain II to the highest contract for a defensive back in NFL history. The contract is said to be a four-year, $96 million extension that includes $77.5 million guaranteed.
With the contract, the two-time Pro Bowler would become the Broncos’ highest-earning player. FOX31 used Spotrac’s average salary estimator to see who the other highest-earning Broncos are and how they compare with the rest of their conference.

The reported deal for Surtain II will see him become one of the highest earners in the division. It’s not too bad for someone who is only 24 years old.
