(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) said officers determined a chase between vehicles happened before shots were fired and a van crashed in the afternoon of Saturday, Sept. 7.

According to CSPD, on Saturday at around 1:45 p.m., police were called to the 5200 block of Iron Horse Trail near North Powers and Stetson Hills Boulevard about shots fired. Police on the scene determined a motorcycle along with a pickup truck were chasing a van before shots were fired.

The vehicles had left the area before police arrived, but the van was found disabled from damage in a crash. At this time none of the involved people have been identified and no injuries were reported.
