(TELLER COUNTY, Colo.) — The Teller County Sheriff’s Office (TCSO) said that donations for firefighters responding to the Highland Lake Fire are being accepted at the Sheriff’s Office.

The following items are being accepted:

Gatorade

Bottled water

Mixed nuts or trail mix

Granola bars

Hand wipes

Cough drops

Eye drops

Chapstick

The road to the fire department is still closed, so donations should be taken to the Sheriff’s Office located at 11400 West Highway 24 in Divide. Designated runners are picking up the donations and bringing them to the fire department.
