(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Pueblo Fire Department (PFD) saved two dogs from an apartment fire near Lake Minnequa on Sunday afternoon, Nov. 3.
According to PFD, around 1 p.m., crews were dispatched to a commercial structure fire at the Shores at Lakeview Apartments, formerly Minnequa Shores Apartments, where they found a small fire in an apartment.

After searching the apartment, firefighters found two dogs that were brought out to safety by the search team. A small kitchen fire was found and quickly extinguished, with little damage done. No injuries were reported, and PFD said the pups would be reunited with their owners immediately.
