(PUEBLO, Colo.) — Tomia Johnson, a Colorado Springs native, was born into a basketball family.

Her father, Tommie Johnson, entering his sixth season as the CSU Pueblo women’s basketball head coach, has been coaching all over Colorado.

Tomia began her collegiate basketball career at Florida Gulf Coast State University, but she was called to return home to the mountains and play for her dad.

Now a senior at CSU Pueblo, Tomia has helped lead the Thunderwolves to a 6-2 conference start.
