(COLORADO SPRINGS) – Very icy roads are to be expected early Wednesday morning over northern El Paso County and over eastern sections of the county from Highway 94 northward.

Bursts of water-laden snow last evening and very strong wind gusts have combined to produce very icy roads. Some streets are like hockey rinks and you should use extra caution north and east of downtown Colorado Springs through the first several hours of the day.
