(PARK COUNTY, Colo.) — Multiple agencies cooperated to recover the body of a boater missing since Saturday at the Spinney Mountain State Park lake, according to the Hartsel Fire Protection District.

According to the District, around noon on Saturday, April 12, two people encountered distress on the lake while boating. One person was rescued by a bystander, but the other person remained missing.
On Monday, April 14, in a joint effort between the Hartsel Fire Protection District, the Colorado Springs Fire Department, and Colorado Parks and Wildlife, the body was recovered shortly before 4 p.m.
