(EL PASO COUNTY, Colo.) — You no longer have to make the trek up America’s Mountain at the crack of dawn to see the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb (PPIHC). For the first time in its 103-year history, the race will be broadcast live from the comfort of your own home.
According to a press release from the PPIHC, the Race to the Clouds will air in its entirety on the cable channel RACER Network, and will also be available on the RACER+ streaming app for the first time ever in 2025.
Following the success of a four-part highlight series that captured the heart and soul of the 2024 Race to the Clouds, fans can look forward to more live racing action and excitement on the RACER Network. The network and recently launched RACER+ app will combine to broadcast 300+ live races in 2025, including the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb on June 22.
RACER Network has blocked seven hours of coverage for the PPIHC live broadcast and will again produce highlight episodes post-race.
“In addition to the live broadcast, the PPIHC will benefit from coverage across the RACER ecosystem, amplifying the event through long-forms, behind-the-scenes storytelling, and highlights,” PPIHC said. “This combined reach across broadcast, digital, and more will offer an unprecedented spotlight on the whole event — capturing the emotion, innovation, and grit of the mountain for both core fans and new audiences alike.”
