(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) reported that officers responded to a disturbance near Galley Road and North Academy Boulevard, in which a suspect was threatening to shoot people before barricading himself inside an apartment.
On Saturday, May 3, around 11 p.m., officers responded to the 3300 block of Portal Drive West after it was reported that several people were in a physical fight, according to CSPD. One man, later identified as 33-year-old Oxzaveon Marrow, was allegedly threatening to shoot people.
CSPD reported that Marrow barricaded himself in an apartment once officers arrived, and a short time later came out and assaulted two officers while they were taking him into custody.
He was booked into the Criminal Justice Center for Second Degree Assault on an Officer, Third Degree Assault, and Menacing.
