(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo is right around the corner, bringing some new changes with it.
This year, the rodeo is introducing a new parking system, requiring a paid parking pass for all fan parking at the venue. According to the Pikes Peak Rodeo website, valid passes are required to park in the premier and standard lots and have to be bought at checkout while purchasing tickets online.
Advanced parking tickets are $10. A cash lot is also available on a first-come, first-served basis without requiring a prepaid pass. Parking is $20 per vehicle.
“This lot is CASH ONLY and will fill up fast!,” the rodeo wrote via their website.
For those who do not want to purchase a parking ticket, the rodeo is bringing back its free park-and-ride off-site shuttle. Individuals can park at the designated garage at Costilla and Tejon Streets near Downtown, and ride free to the Norris Penrose Event Center.
Shuttle bus hours are available on:
Tuesday 7/8, Wednesday 7/9 and Thursday 7/10: 4 p.m. to midnight
Friday 7/11 and Saturday 7/12: 10 a.m. to midnight.
As for tickets they are now available and can be purchased online at the link above. The Pikes Peak or Bust Rodeo will take place from Tuesday, July 8 through Saturday, July 12 at Norris Penrose Event Center.
