Officials react to House passing ‘big, beautiful bill’

DENVER (KDVR) — On Thursday morning, the House in a 218-214 vote passed Trump’s “big, beautiful bill,” which will now go to the president’s desk to be signed.

This comes after the bill was approved by the Senate on Tuesday.

The bill states that it will cut into federal Medicaid spending, tax breaks and deduction changes.

Colorado lawmakers in the House of Representatives voted as the following:

Diana DeGette (D) – no

Joe Neguse (D) – no

Jeff Hurd (R) – yes

Lauren Boebert (R) – yes

Jeff Crank (R) – yes

Jason Crow (D) – no

Brittany Pettersen (D) – no

Gabe Evans (R) – yes

The results show that each lawmaker voted alongside their respected party affiliation.
