(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The City of Pueblo is inviting the public to attend a Transportation Summit, a meeting that will help shape the future of Pueblo’s transportation system.
In collaboration with Pueblo County and the Pueblo Area Council of Governments (PACOG), the regional summit offers an opportunity for the community, business leaders, organizations, and transportation stakeholders to help shape the future of Pueblo’s transportation.
“These two plans will work hand-in-hand to make our streets safer, more efficient, and better connected,” said Mayor Heather Graham. “We need the voices of our community to ensure the final plans reflect the real needs of people who live, work, and travel in Pueblo.”
The summit supports two complementary plans:
The Comprehensive Safety Action Plan (CSAP), which focuses on improving roadway safety for all users
The 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan (LTRP) sets the vision and priorities for Pueblo’s multimodal transportation system over the next 25 years.
Those who cannot attend but would like their input to be heard can provide feedback through the Pueblo Comprehensive Safety Action Plan Survey or PACOG 2050 Long Range Transportation Plan Survey.
The event will take place on Wednesday, July 9 from 3:30 p.m. to 6:3 p.m. at the Sangre de Cristo Arts Center located at 210 N. Santa Fe Avenue. The meeting will feature interactive exhibits, staff from each agency available for discussion, and presentations at 3:30 p.m., 4:30 p.m., and 5:30 p.m.
