(COLORADO SPRINGS) — An SUV crashed into the corner of an apartment building Tuesday morning, Sept. 2, causing significant damage to the building, according to the Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD).
CSFD reported that around 7 a.m. on Tuesday, crews responded to the scene near Airport Road and Ruskin Drive, east of South Academy Boulevard, where they found heavy damage to an apartment building and a vehicle in the road. Heavy Rescue 17 responded and assessed the stability of the building.
According to CSFD, there were no injuries reported, and the damaged apartment was vacant. The Colorado Springs Police Department will investigate the crash.
