(COLORADO SPRINGS) — While true fall temperatures haven’t quite set in yet, the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo (CMZoo) is ready to get spooky with their annual Boo at the Zoo!

Join the Zoo and its furry friends for seven nights of frightful mountainside fun this October. But, beware, advanced tickets are required for both members and general visitors. CMZoo just opened ticket sales, so make sure to secure your trip!

The seven-day event will feature over 20 trick-or-treat stations, a kid-friendly haunted house, giraffe feedings, Sky Rides, trips on the historic carousel, Halloween-themed animal demonstrations, and more.

This year’s Boo at the Zoo will also host a new costume contest. Guests who visit the event just need to take a picture at Boo at the Zoo and post it to Facebook or Instagram with #BooCMZoo for a chance to win tickets to their Electric Safari.

CMZoo is still looking for volunteers to help deliver or pass out candy at trick-or-treat stations, direct traffic, and work the Haunted House. If that sounds like a spooktacular time to you or if you’d like more information, visit cmzoo.org/boo.

Boo at the Zoo will take place on the last three weekends of October: Oct. 17 through 19, and 24 through 26, with the final day being Halloween, Friday, Oct. 31. The hours for the event will be 4:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.

CMZoo reported that around 18,000 superheroes, princesses, and other costumed visitors and their parents attended last year, so make sure to get your tickets quickly!
