(SPONSORED) — The YMCA of the Pikes Peak Region is inviting families, runners, and Halloween lovers to kick off the season with the 17th Annual Creepy Crawl 5K.

FOX21’s Krista Witiak interviewed Jillian Scaggs, Special Events Coordinator for the YMCA, who announced that this fun, spooky-themed race will take place on Saturday, Oct. 25, at the Palmer Lake Santa Fe Trail.

The event includes a free Kids Monster Dash at 10 a.m., followed by the 5K at 10:30 a.m. Costumes are highly encouraged, and dogs and strollers are welcome.

The YMCA is also bringing back the race bundles, which allow participants to register for all three seasonal races and receive a 10% discount, along with commemorative medals for each event.
