Pueblo County Coroner identifies body found in abandoned greenhouse

(PUEBLO COUNTY, Colo.) — The Pueblo County Coroner has identified the woman whose body was found in an abandoned greenhouse in western Pueblo County earlier in October.

According to the Pueblo County Sheriff’s Office (PCSO), the body discovered on Oct. 15 has been positively identified by Pueblo County Coroner Greg Grahek as 40-year-old Alicia Espinoza of Pueblo.

Espinoza’s body was found in an abandoned greenhouse in the 9100 block of West Highway 96 near Wetmore. Someone reportedly found the body while cleaning the greenhouse, PCSO said.

PCSO said the body appeared to have been in the greenhouse for some time. Detectives continue to investigate the circumstances of Espinoza’s death and how she came to be in the greenhouse.
