(COLORADO SPRINGS) — Three people were stabbed, leading to the death of one man on Friday night, Oct. 31, in a home near North Nevada Avenue and Uintah Street, according to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD).

CSPD reported that officers responded to the 1400 block of North El Paso Street just before midnight, where they found one man and two women who had all been stabbed. Another male of unknown age and a young child were also inside the home.

All three injured people were taken to the hospital. The man died at the hospital, and the two women were treated for life-threatening injuries. The other male was also taken to the hospital for minor injuries and was later taken to the Police Operations Center for further investigation, according to CSPD. The child was not injured.

The Homicide Unit took over the investigation, which is still ongoing.
