(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) is investigating a body found in Monument Creek south of I-25 near South Nevada Avenue.

CSPD confirmed to FOX21 News that a body had been found in Monument Creek on Tuesday, Nov. 4. The circumstances surrounding the death are unclear, and CSPD said it is in the early stages of the investigation.

Law enforcement will be on scene investigating into the evening, CSPD said.
