$10,000 reward offered for information on fatal shooting

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak Area Crimestoppers is reminding the community of a $10,000 reward that is being offered for information leading to the arrest of those responsible for the 2022 fatal shooting of 19-year-old Santiago Calleros III of Colorado Springs.

According to Crime Stoppers, on July 6, 2022, around 10:45 p.m., the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) responded to the El Morro Mobile Home Park, located in the 3600 block of El Morro Road, near South Academy Boulevard and Chelton Road, on reports of a shooting.

When officers and medical personnel arrived, they found a man suffering from at least one gunshot wound and provided medical aid, but he died of his injuries.

The victim was identified as Calleros, also known to the Hispanic community as rap artist “Lil Travieso.” He left behind a two-year-old daughter, and Crime Stoppers said his loss is felt deeply in the community.
