(PUEBLO, Colo.) — A 13-year-old died after falling through an attic at a childcare program in Pueblo on Friday, April 18.

According to the Pueblo Police Department (PPD), officers responded shortly after 7 p.m. on Friday to the Rocky Mountain Service, Employment, and Redevelopment (RMSER) Empowerment Center on Lake Avenue.

PPD confirmed to FOX21 News that a 13-year-old had died due to injuries sustained from a fall through an attic of the building. PPD said no other reports of injured children had been received.
