(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The 2023 Give! Campaign, which officially ended on Jan. 3, 2024, raised over $980,000 to support 63 nonprofits in the Pikes Peak Region.
More than 2,300 donors came together to raise the money, and on Thursday evening, Feb. 1, a ceremony will be held to present checks to all the nonprofits that participated.
The goal was to raise $1 million for the nonprofits, and the deadline to donate was extended in hopes of reaching that number, but the Give! Campaign wrote on social media that it was grateful for all the donations that came in and for the community’s support.
“We are thankful to be part of such a generous community. We are so proud of each and every one of the 63 nonprofits we partnered with this year and the hard work they put into our community each and every day,” wrote the Give! Campaign. “While the 2023 GIVE! Campaign is over, our nonprofits are just beginning their work for the year.”
FOX21 News Director Joe Cole will serve as the Emcee for the event.
