(PUEBLO, Colo.) — The Greater Pueblo Chamber of Commerce and Visit Pueblo have announced the winners of the 2024 Chili & Salsa Showdown, presented by Mission Foods. The event kicked off the 30th Annual Pueblo Chile & Frijoles Festival.
This year, a record 140 entries came from across Colorado. Eight celebrity judges, including local news broadcasters and top chefs from the Rocky Mountain region, selected the winners. Judges selected the best green chili, red chili, and salsa in both commercial and noncommercial rounds, based on flavor, appeal, balance, ingredients, and texture.
The winners for each round and category are:
