This year’s theme, “From Farm to Flames,” showcases both Pueblo’s agricultural roots and the community’s fiery spirit. Over the festival’s three days, there will be a litany of entrees and entertainment, including over 50 musical acts in four different live entertainment tents, more than 200 food and drink vendors, a Kids Corner for performances, and arts and crafts, performances from El Pueblo Fandango, an adorable Chihuahua and Friends Parade, a jalapeño eating contest, and the stunning Pueblo Chile Balloon Fest.

Tips from the various bars across the festival will go to CASA of Pueblo, a nonprofit advocating for abused and neglected children.

Visit the official Pueblo Chile and Frijoles Festival website for tickets, contest registration, a full schedule of events, and more.

The event begins Sept. 9 at 3 p.m. and will take place in the Union Avenue Historic District in Downtown Pueblo, and will run through Sept. 21. A complimentary, handicap-accessible shuttle service will be available from the 6th Street Midtown Shopping Center to the festival grounds.
