USPIS offering large reward for information on suspect

(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The U.S. Postal Inspection Service (USPIS) is offering a reward of up to $150,000 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the suspect accused of robbing a U.S. Postal Service (USPS) letter carrier.

On Saturday, March 9 at around 11 a.m., a letter carrier was unloading/loading a community mailbox near Teal Court and Mallard Drive when they were robbed at gunpoint. USPIS said some keys were taken from the letter carrier but they were unharmed.

The suspect is described as a black man in his late teens or early 20s, a slim build, around 6′ tall and 160 lbs wearing a black hoodie and grey pants with a mask pulled up over his nose.
