(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A 17-year-old has been arrested for Sexual Exploitation of a Child following an investigation in Colorado Springs by multiple agencies.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the Colorado Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force received a CyberTip regarding possible sexual exploitation of a child. 

CSPD, ICAC, the FBI, and Homeland Security Investigations investigated the tip, which led to the arrest of a 17-year-old who lives in El Paso County.

CSPD said this is an active investigation, and no further information would be released. The 17-year-old who was arrested has not been identified due to their age.
