(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) is assisting an aircraft that made an emergency landing on Friday, May 31.
At 1:05 p.m., CSFD posted on X that they were assisting a small aircraft that made an emergency landing in a field north of Airport Rd/Powers Blvd. At the moment, all individuals who were on board are out of the plane and are being assessed for injuries.
The Colorado Springs Airport wrote the airport has been made aware of the incident and Airport operations are not impacted at this time.
CSFD is asking the community to avoid the area.
