Hanover Fire Department suffers major fire damage

(FOUNTAIN, Colo.) — The Hanover Fire Department in Fountain reported that Station 2 caught on fire on the afternoon of Sunday, June 2, causing major damage.

According to the Fire Department, the station sustained major damage, and two trucks were lost, along with other equipment.

This fire comes right after the department had announced a breakfast on Sunday, June 9, at Station 1, where they would be welcoming the community to spend time with them and enjoy a country breakfast. The Fire Department has stated that the fire will not affect the breakfast.

The Hanover Fire Department extended thanks to all of the agencies who responded to assist on the fire.
