(COLORADO SPRINGS) — According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), a person got into an argument with their roommate on Sunday, June 2, and the altercation led to a gunshot wound to the hand.
CSPD reported that around 5 p.m., they responded to a call near East Rio Grand Street and East Moreno Avenue, where after an argument between roommates, the suspect allegedly pulled out a handgun. The victim and the suspect struggled over the gun and the victim was shot once in the hand.
According to CSPD, the suspect fled on foot and left the gun, which police recovered. The suspect evaded capture but is known, and officers placed a warrant for his arrest.
