(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — The Commonwheel Artists Co-op 50th Anniversary Art Festival is coming up in Manitou Springs on Labor Day Weekend and will feature over 90 artists from all over the country.

The free festival runs from Aug. 31 to Sept. 2, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. daily, at Memorial Park in Manitou Springs.

Resident artists from the Commonwheel Artists Co-op will be included, showcasing a diverse array of art forms such as glass, wood, photography, jewelry, pottery, fiber, and paintings in a diverse range of media.

The festival is fun for the whole family with activities including food, music, and a kid’s activity booth, which features giant soap bubbles, balloon artists, and face painting. Kids will have the chance to make and take their own masterpieces or enter a contest to decorate a VW bus for a chance to win exciting prizes.
