(MANITOU SPRINGS, Colo.) — The Mineral Springs Foundation along with other community partners is once again hosting “Waterfest,” a celebration of a vital cause – restoring, protecting, and promoting the natural mineral springs that help define Manitou Springs.

The free event is taking place on Saturday, July 20. Presentations begin at 10 a.m. at the Manitou Heritage Center & Museum, followed by a family potluck at Mansions Park and waterpark activities will take place from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at 7 Minute Park.

Representatives from the Mineral Springs Foundation joined FOX21 Morning News on Monday, July 15 to talk about the event and what it supports.
