(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Airport (COS) released its annual report for 2023, boasting the highest boardings in over twenty years along with improvements to the airport.

COS said in 2023 the airport saw 1,179,334 boardings and 2,347,496 total passengers pass through the airport. According to COS, this is the highest number of boardings since 1999.

COS mentioned improvements to ADA-accessible parking in its lots by replacing all signage and restriping all the parking spots along with chevrons to identify ADA spots. The airport said it is also working to improve multiple jet bridges with floor replacements, safety railings installed on the top of the bridges, and inverter upgrades.

COS boasted that it had won the Gazette’s Best Workplaces in 2023 for its third consecutive year.
