(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo.) — A study found that Colorado Springs was listed as one of the top most desirable midsize cities in America.
Close to a quarter of respondents, 22.6%, said Colorado Springs was a top-five midsize city, landing at #2 in the ranking. Respondents deemed cities desirable due to having a low crime rate, low housing and living costs, and good weather. Americans said a high crime rate, high housing and living costs, and high taxes made a place undesirable.

Honolulu, Hawaii.
Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Charleston, South Carolina.
Cape Coral, Florida.
Palm Bay, Florida.
Winston, North Carolina.
Tucson, Arizona.
Albuquerque, New Mexico.
Greenville, South Carolina.
Augusta, Georgia.
Although Americans said most cities are affordable, Honululu landed as one of the most expensive cities in the U.S. Basic goods and services cost more there.
Colorado overall landed on the 10 Most Desirable States to Live placing eight. Thanks to its natural beauty, Colorado is loaded with scenic views and outdoor activities, respondents also named the Centennial State as the most underrated.
The Centennial State also ranked #12 in the nicest residents rank and #11 in the incoming migration rank.
