(COLORADO SPRINGS) — A woman called the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD) about her estranged boyfriend who allegedly sent threatening photos and set fire to a garage.
According to CSPD, on Sunday, Aug. 11 at around 11:25 a.m. a caller told police her estranged boyfriend, identified as 33-year-old Joshua Spradling, had been circling her house near Airport Road and South Union Boulevard all night after she made him leave. While he continued to circle the block, Spradling allegedly sent photos of himself with a noose around his neck and other photos showing a pistol along with threats to shoot her.
While officers were en route, the woman told police Spradling had left but before leaving had allegedly set the detached garage on fire. When police arrived they extinguished the fire using a fire extinguisher with minimal damage to the garage.
Spradling was found at a nearby strip mall and taken into custody without incident. According to CSPD, he is facing charges of Arson, Stalking, and Menacing.
