(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Pikes Peak Regional Building Department (PPRBD) said it recently issued permits for a new Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) station being added in the Northgate neighborhood.

On Wednesday, Sept. 4 PPRBD posted on Facebook that CSFD would soon be getting a new fire station at Interquest Parkway and New Life Drive. The new station is expected to open in the Spring of 2025.

PPRBD said the $10.5 million fire station project is an important addition due to the recent commercial and residential growth in northern Colorado Springs.
