(COLORADO SPRINGS) — The Colorado Springs Fire Department (CSFD) responded to a car vs. building crash on Wednesday, Dec. 4, on Montebello Square Drive, where a car had backed into a storefront.

According to the Colorado Springs Police Department (CSPD), the crash was determined to be an accident and no medical condition or criminal activity was involved.

CSFD said no injuries were reported by anyone in the car or store, and the fire crew verified the building was structurally stable before turning the building back to the owner. CSPD cited the driver for careless driving.
