(SOUTHERN COLORADO) — Snow will spread in from the north by the middle of Monday morning, Dec. 9 in the Pikes Peak Region and spread south through the remainder of the day.
Snow will end from north to south on Monday night. It’s been warm lately, so the roads will initially melt the snow.
However, during the afternoon, many areas will be below freezing, so it’s possible that wet roads ice up late in the day. Areas over the mountains with heavier snow are more likely to see snow stick earlier than lower elevations.
The biggest impacts for winter travel are expected where the snow will be heaviest, generally over the mountains southwest of Pueblo. Snow will end from north to south overnight.
